Let’s Make Sense
of Your Gut.

Brenda Watson teaching with a digestive system model

Your gut affects far more than digestion. It’s home to trillions of microbes and plays a role in everything from regularity and immune health to hunger, cravings, weight, and even your mood.

And while you may not think about your gut very often, it’s working around the clock—breaking down food, absorbing nutrients, communicating with your brain, and helping keep your body in balance.

The more you understand how your gut works, the better equipped you are to take care of it. That’s where I come in.

I’ve spent more than 30 years helping people connect the dots between their digestive health and overall well-being. My goal is to make the science simple, the information useful, and the steps you can take feel doable.

Here you’ll find videos, articles, and practical tips to help you understand what’s happening inside your body and how everyday choices can make a meaningful difference.

There’s a lot going on in there. Let’s make sense of it together.

01
Gut Health & Digestion

When your gut doesn’t feel right, start here.

Bloating. Constipation. Heartburn. IBS. SIBO. Even what you see in the toilet. Your symptoms can tell you a lot about what’s happening inside your digestive system.

But gut health goes deeper than symptoms. Your microbiome, gut lining, motility and the way you digest and absorb nutrients all play a part.

Let’s figure out what your gut may be trying to tell you.

02
Hunger, Cravings & Weight Loss

Still hungry? Your gut may have something to do with it.

Hunger, fullness and cravings aren’t simply about willpower. Your gut, brain, blood sugar and hormones are constantly communicating to help determine when you’re hungry—and when you’ve had enough.

Understanding those signals can change the way you eat, feel and lose weight.

03
Fiber & Food

Fiber Is Having a Moment. And It’s About Time.

Fiber does far more than keep you regular. Different types feed your gut microbes, support digestive health, and help you feel fuller and more satisfied. And the plant foods that deliver fiber bring plenty of other good things to the table, too.

Which fibers are best? What should you pair them with? And what foods are better left off the plate?

Let’s dig in.

04
Detoxification & Cleansing

Your body knows how to detox.

Your liver and gut work around the clock to process and eliminate what your body doesn’t need.

Learn how to support those natural systems—and better understand challenges like Candida and parasites and how to address them.

Help your body do what it was designed to do.

The Gut-Health Formula That Started It All

Long before gut health went mainstream, I began teaching four fundamentals of what I call foundational nutrition.

I call it the H.O.P.E. Formula:

H
High Fiber
O
Omega-3s
P
Probiotics
E
Enzymes

Nearly 20 years later, these fundamentals are still part of how I think about supporting a healthy gut.
